Born in Long Island, New York, Amina (20) and Adina (18) have always been the topic of conversation. At a strikingly young age, the girls playfully harmonized to the Sesame Street theme song, causing people to stop and take notice. Everyone began talking about how talented they were, and at that moment, Gossyp was born.

This Kansas city born artist is a Grammy nominated singer, dancer, song writer, and performer. Currently Janelle is working with wonderland arts society and Bad Boy/Atlantic Records. With a background in theatre, Janelle comes into the music world with a theatrical mindset that gives her the ability to create music that will bring scenes of imagination to life. Janelle’s main focus is to touch the soul, cause the body to move, and create good vibes. Ms. Monae was able to release her first LP this year back in May of 2010 and it is titled "The ArchAndroid". The album is full of amazing vocals, unusual Imagery, and sprinkled with influences from the 60's jazz and pop music era. Looking into the future you can expect Janelle to elevate your sense of good music and captivate your mind by the way in which she presents her music to the world.
