(Atlanta, GA) May 31, 2011 - There’s no better way to kick off a holiday weekend than honoring those who have social responsibility at the top of their list.  The Lifestyle Specialist, Kenny Burns and Grey Goose La Poire “PEARed” up with Corporate Code, Incorporated for the most recent installment of the Lifestyle Specialist Dinner Series.  
Philanthropy is the focus of this edition as Corporate Code is a nonprofit organization whose goal is to help displaced men in our community (the homeless, formerly incarcerated, and/or unemployed) gain economic independence by providing interview-appropriate clothing and career counseling by building self-confidence.  
The Lifestyle Specialist Dinner Series IV kicked off the 2nd Annual Fashion & Philanthropy  for Corporate Code which will take place June 15th through June 17th 2011.  
With fashion being a major part of this organization’s DNA, select “Men of Style” were invited and honored in addition to Kenny Burns.  They were:

On April 10th photographer John Ledbetter, a member of the Beta Gamma Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc at Virginia State University, posted a highlight reel from a recent probate show of Spring 2011 initiates.

A cameo role or cameo appearance (often shortened to just cameo; English pronunciation: /ˈkæmɪoʊ/) is a brief appearance of a known person in a work of the performing arts, such as plays, films, video games^[1] and television. These roles are generally small, many of them non-speaking ones, and are commonly either appearances in a work in which they hold some special significance (such as actors from an original movie appearing in its remake), or renowned people making uncredited appearances. Short appearances by celebrities, film directors, politicians, athletes, musicians or even characters from other fictional works are common. A cameo appearance can also include when a crew member of the show or movie play a minor role. A cameo should not be confused with a guest appearance, being different in that guest appearances do acknowledge the person in question for who they are, be it by explicitly naming them or in the work's credits.

This evening set along the Atlanta skyline was MCed by special guest and huge supporter of Verse Simmonds, Bu Thiam, Vice President of Def Jam Records. Akon and Bu, who both represent Kon Live, have taken notice of Verse, his accomplishments having worked with Rodney Jerkins and Akon himself and his skills as an artist, writer and star. According to Bu, Verse will be THE hottest artist this summer, not next year, THIS summer! This was one of the many great things he had to say about Verses talent and music previous to pressing play and letting the music speak for itself. Industry insiders like Jazze Pha, Shanti Das, Kenny Burns, Coach K, Keinon Johnson, Kevin Wales, Anthony Dent, and American Idols Anoop Desai were also in attendance to show their support of this rising stars groundbreaking project.
